MARCH 2017 – THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR WALLS ARE PRACTICALLY ALL FINISHED!
Following the spring camps of the Nepal Mountain Mobile Hospital, we left for Phaplu to take stock of the ongoing reconstruction work on the Maternity Centre.
The work is making good progress. The red brick external and internal walls are practically all finished. A few small errors of measurement were however noted and will be corrected to ensure optimal utilisation of the building.
The electricians will soon be able to start installing the electric lines. The plumber too will be able to install the pipes and drainage. After that will come the ceilings and finishing touches which will take a further few months.
